| Agilent > Agilent Noise Figure Analyzers & Noise Sources |
|
|
Whether you are working with systems, subsystems,
subassemblies, or discrete devices, each of your components add noise that
affects the overall performance of you receiver. By measuring and reducing
noise figure, you can give your components a competitive edge.
Agilent Technologies provide a range of noise figure
measurements solutions to meet your needs, from the NFA series noise
figure analyzers to the noise figure measurement personalities for our
spectrum analyzers. We also have a range of noise sources to complete the
measurement solution. |

Noise Sources
Agilent Technologies provide a range of noise sources for use
with the NFA series noise figure analyzer and the noise figure
personality on the PSA series spectrum analyzer.
|
The Agilent 346, 347 and SNS Series of
noise sources work in conjunction with the NFA Series
noise-figure analyzers to make noise-figure measurements
from 10 MHz to 50 GHz. The 346 Series of noise sources
can also be used to make noise-figure measurements with
the noise-figure personality on a PSA-Series spectrum
analyzer.
Products & Services

Source Test Set
Agilent provide the opportunity for customers to calibrate
their own noise sources using the N2002A noise source test set
as part of a noise source calibration system.
|
The Agilent N2002A noise-source test set
allows users to calibrate their own noise sources with
minimal levels of uncertainty. Because the test set is
easy to operate and has low equipment costs, it is now
viable for the process to occur 'in-house,' which
dramatically reduces downtime.
For engineers that currently run their
own noise source calibration service, the N2002A is an
ideal addition to their test equipment. By incorporating
this low-cost, self-contained unit into a wider noise
source calibration system, fast, high quality
calibrations of noise sources can be made.
