Koyo has been manufacturing encoders for 32 years, and we will be carrying selected series of their optical rotary encoders for use in positioning and motion control applications. The initial offering includes standard shaft and hollow shaft versions of incremental encoders, and absolute encoding models with a stainless steel shaft.

All encoders feature a reinforced aluminum diecast casing, have an operating temperature range -10 to +70 degrees C, and come equipped with a two-meter cable exit. Flexible couplings in aluminum and glass reinforced resin and mounting brackets will also be available.

TRD-S Series

Quadrature style miniature incremental encoders:

models include

100, 360, 500, 1000, or 2500 pulses per revolution

6mm solid or hollow shaft models

200KHz maximum response frequency

available in 5v line driver or 12-24vdc models

TRD-N Series

Quadrature style incremental encoders:

models include 60, 100, 360, 500, 1000, or 2500 pulses per revolution

8mm solid or hollow shaft models

Accept source voltages from 5V to 30VDC

100KHz maximum response frequency

Protection rating of IP65

TRD-NA Series

Absolute encoders:

5 bit to 10 bit Gray code outputs

8mm stainless steel solid shaft

Accept source voltages from 10V to 26VDC

20KHz maximum response frequency

Protection rating of IP65
