Fuji Machine Tool Digital AC
Spindle Drive System
FRENIC5000MS5 Series

 |
 |
|
Equipment Configuration
1. Converter unit
Provides the main power supply for the drive
unit. Classified as a dynamic braking
converter unit or a regenerative converter
unit, depending on the braking method.
2. Drive unit
Receives DC power from the converter unit to
drive the spindle motor. The M5 Series with
torque vector control, or the V5 Series with
high-performance vector control are
available.
3. Package drive unit
This unit integrates the functions of the
units described above. It is available only
with dynamic braking.
|
|
- Optimum models for each machine tool
Select from the M5 Series with torque vector
control, or the V5 Series with high-performance
vector control.
- Separate converter construction
Several drive units can be operated by a single
converter unit.
- Conform to EC Directives
The standard specifications for the drive unit,
converter unit, spindle motor, and options of
all models conform to EC Directives.
- Basic performance improved
Rotational fluctuations have been drastically
reduced in the M5 Series, resulting in less gear
noise.
- Downsized
These compact models are approximately 60% the
size of previous models.
- Enhanced optional functions
A rigid tap function, polygon machining
function, and PC loader function are available
as options.
