| 1. Pulse
Output Function
1) A special controller is not necessary since
pulse is directly output from the FP1. This economic system
enables a positioning control.
2) As the 56-point type and 72-point type units
(C56 and C72 series) have two pulse outputs, they can be connected
directly to the drivers which have two pulse inputs.
3) Pulse output frequency can be selected among
the 6 ranges.(1,440 Hz to 5 kHz/720 Hz to 5 kHz/360 Hz to 5
kHz/180 Hz to 5 kHz/90 Hz to 5 kHz/45 Hz to 5 kHz)

| 2. Interrupt
input function (C24, C40, C56, and C72 series)
1) This function enables high-speed processing at
a fixed timing and is not affected by scanning speed.
2) It is useful when performing control which
would be disrupted by variations in processing time due to such
factors as timing synchronization.

| 3.
High-speed counter function
1) This function can be applied to the inverter
control and counting control using encoder input.
2) This function supports four modes:
Two-phase input, UP, DOWN, and UP/DOWN.

| 4. Using
RS232C port (for C type only)
Using RS232C port enables serial communication
with RS232C equipment such as reading data from barcode
reader and interactive data exchange with image
checker.

| 5.
Clock/Calendar function (for C type only)
1) The control data can be changed by year, month,
day, hour, minute, second and day of the week.
2) The function can be used for automatic startup
of a machine and equipment and recording of operating condition.
