Features
1. FP2/FP2SH ET-LAN unit is compatible with
three communications interfaces: 100BASE-TX, 10BASE-T, and 10BASE5.
The FP3 ET-LAN unit is compatible only with
10BASE5.
2. Compatible with TCP/IP and UDP/IP
Programmed by the user, a line is opened from the
PLC with IP address settings for the local and the remote
stations.
3. Communication enabled up to 8 connections
Open processing is enabled with remote devices
using a maximum of 8 nodes, including a computer. Consequently,
access is possible from several places, such as site and office.
4. MEWTOCOL communications can be used
FP series users can use our protocol "MEWTOCOL"
for communications. This shortens the communications programming
of the PLC with regard to command exchanges.
5. Compatible with remote programming
FPWIN GR/Pro can be used for programming and
monitoring PLCs at remote locations.

2) The standards cite 100 m 328.08
ft. as the maximum, but noise resistance measures such as
attaching a ferrite core may be necessary in some cases, depending
on the usage environment.

board, we recommend using it at a distance of 10 m 32.808
ft. or less.
